Although COX-1 is expressed in various tissues and plays a key role in the pain-induced inflammatory response, its expression is still unknown. In this study, we investigated the expression of COX-2 in the cartilage tissues of OA patients and normal subjects, which may be a possible target for the therapeutic effect of COX-2 inhibitors in OA patients.
Previous studies have reported the expression of COX-2 in different tissues, and COX-2 is also expressed in different tissues, such as osteoblasts, osteoclasts, osteoclasts, and chondrocytes (). However, there are few studies on the expression of COX-2 in cartilage tissues of OA patients. In this study, we explored the expression of COX-2 in cartilage tissues of OA patients and normal subjects, and whether the expression of COX-2 is affected by the expression of COX-2 in cartilage tissues.
The clinical trial was designed to evaluate the therapeutic effect of celecoxib, which is an oral drug with different mechanisms of action, in the treatment of OA. Briefly, 20 OA patients with mild to moderate pain were randomly divided into two groups. The patients in the first group received a dose of 200 mg of celecoxib (Celebrex) orally once, and the patients in the second group received 200 mg of celecoxib orally once. The patients in the celecoxib group received celecoxib orally once for a 4-week period and then received a 4-week period without celecoxib treatment. The patients in the celecoxib group received a dose of Celebrex and Celecoxib twice daily for a 4-week period and then received a 4-week period without celecoxib treatment. The patients in the celecoxib group received a dose of Celebrex and Celecoxib once daily for a 4-week period and then received a 4-week period without celecoxib treatment. The patients in the celecoxib group had to stop the treatment at the end of the study before starting the therapy. Patients who failed to comply with the study procedures were excluded from the study. Patients were divided into three groups according to the number of patients in the treatment group. The patients in the group without treatment, the group with treatment group with 200 mg of celecoxib and Celebrex and Celecoxib treatment, and the group with treatment group with 200 mg of Celebrex and Celecoxib treatment. Patients who were allergic to celecoxib and had severe or life-threatening allergic reaction to the medications were excluded from the study.
All of the patients in the experimental group received the same drug as the control group. Before initiation of the study, the patients in the celecoxib group were weighed, and then the patients in the celecoxib group were divided into two groups: the control group (a control group) and the experimental group (a group with celecoxib or celecoxib or Celebrex). I am a 34-year-old female and I have been prescribed celecoxib for chronic pain for two years, at a cost of $1,922 a month. I have heard that it is safe for me to take but I am afraid that the effect on my liver will cause me to stop taking it.
